ABSTRACT
There have been huge changes in the power dynamics and dynamics of politics due to the fast incorporation of AI into decision-making frameworks inside governments. This study looks at the use of AI-driven decision-making tools in Delhi-based Indian government agencies by the year 2025. It takes a look at the pros and cons of these instruments in relation to democracy, openness, and power dynamics. The research finds important effects and suggests ways to keep democratic supervision and checks and balances strong by combining primary data with literature review and expert interviews. Although artificial intelligence technologies enhance predictive governance and simplify administrative tasks, they also raise the risk of centralised decision-making and need actions to strategically control their use.
